Who We Are

Adirondack Solutions, Inc. was created in 1998 as a joint effort between a seasoned housing professional and a computer applications developer. Randi Schweriner, MS, worked in housing at Cabrini College, Princeton University and Rutgers University before joining with David Kritz to establish Adirondack Solutions. David, an engineer, had a proven track record of developing efficient, user friendly software in both academic and corporate environments.

When we founded Adirondack Solutions, Inc., we were determined to create a new model for college software providers. We formed an entrepreneurially driven firm owned and run by its partners. We hired only seasoned veterans with vast student services and computer expertise.

Almost 10 years later, our vision remains to be a firm with the best-in-class capability, sector knowledge, and breadth of services which fully address the needs of our clients across the country and overseas. Although The Housing Director remains our flagship product, the list of applications we offer has expanded to include Judicial Affairs management, conference organization, Health and Counseling administration telephone billing operations, parking operations and a broad range of student services self-service web application. The senior-level attention that we provide our clients across this broad spectrum sets us apart from our competitors. Additionally, all Adirondack development and support is conducted in-house.

We are extremely proud of the commitment and dedication that each Adirondack employee brings to every client and/or partner relationship that we forge. We work hard but play too, and we look forward to those occasions when we can get together with clients and partners in more social settings, such as our annual users conference, ASUG.

About Our Co-Founders

David J. Kritz Co-Founder and CEO Dave is co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Adirondack Solutions. With over 15 years of software development experience, Dave has played the lead systems architect role in almost every software package Adirondack Solutions offers its clients. Dave's initial career path started with working as a sales engineer for three years and then as a developer for four. As a developer he worked for companies such as ADP, Merril Lynch, AT&T, Hoechst Roussel Vet and AIG. Dave received his B.S. in Engineering from Rutgers University.
