Burlington, VT News FIT to be Beta Site for Self-Service Check-InThe Fashion Institute of Technology in New York, NY will be the first beta test site for Adirondack's self-service check-in module. FIT will use the module to check-in approximately 2,000 residents during the month of August. Joseph Gaschen, Asst. Director of Residence Life will oversee the project from a functional standpoint. Adirondack Solutions staff will be on-site to assist with the testing. We hope for a successful pilot project. The Self-Service Check-In module should be available for any client's use starting in January 2009. TouchNet Interface Now Available Adirondack Solutions has joined TouchNet Ready and has built an interface to the TouchNet Payment System. This enables online payments made through The Housing Director to be processed in real-time seamlessly through TouchNet. With this TouchNet interface, online application fees payments can be processed with the TouchNet Payment System. Using TPG and Adirondack Solutions interface, institutions replace inefficient labor-and paper-intensive payment procedures with real-time electronic transactions, cutting costs, reducing overhead, and streamlining workflow. Campus merchants process credit card and check payments received online, in-person, over-the-phone, or through the mail. In turn, students, parents, and alumni can make campus payments how, where, and when they want.
